Ingredients for Feteer Al Falahi Meshaltet:
- 4 cups of flour “must be bread flour

The method of work
1) – I will start with four cups of flour, then add two tablespoons of sugar, and a quarter tablespoon of salt, then add water, gradually, until we have a cohesive dough.
So we start with 1 and 1/3 cups and you can use more, if you feel the dough needs it, once the dough separates from the sides of the bowl, then the dough is soft, a little sticky.
2- Put the dough on a plate, and put a little ghee or butter on the face. Cover it with plastic wrap and leave it for at least two hours, the longer, the better.
3) – I will divide the dough into balls, in the form of small balls, taking into account that they are of different sizes. We roll out the dough one by one, and use melted ghee on the work surface and on the ball.
4) – We press our hands on the ball and stretch it. If the dough is well rested, it will stretch easily. The first layer without anything in it just remember to use ghee on the go, and don’t worry if it breaks a bit.
All edges are tightened, until the dough becomes transparent, and if the edges are too thick, just cut it.
5) – We distribute a quantity of the softening mixture on it, “the butter, baking powder, and oil, then we fold it over each other, set it aside, and roll out the second ball.
6) – Then put the first folded layer into the second layer before you fold it, with a little flaking mixture, then fold it again, you can add as many layers as you like but for me five layers or five balls would be fine.
7) – Put the unleavened bread on your baking sheet, cover it with plastic wrap and then let it rest, for fifteen to thirty minutes. Then use a little cream on top of the pie ball, and distribute it with your hands, while spreading the dough ball.
8) – Bake at a high temperature for 15 minutes, or until it turns brown or golden, cover it with aluminum foil after removing it from the oven, until it becomes soft.
You can enjoy it after 15 minutes. We eat it with cottage cheese, honey, or treacle and tahini, or you can enjoy it with nothing at all.

You can also make the pastry in another way, instead of spreading it in the form of a ball and placing one inside the other.
It can be cut in the form of a large ball, and rolled into a very thin rectangle, and it is cut from the sides, and put each side on the other. Then in the end we roll it in the form of a ball, and we spread it in a tray, then we flatten it.

1) – We dissolve the sugar in a little water, then add the rest of the ingredients, and start kneading very well, and let the dough rest for an hour, in the ovens it is left for about five hours.
2) – Then we roll out the whole dough in the form of a rectangle, put butter on it, roll it up and cut it into five pies, or according to the size you want. We let the dough rest for a quarter of an hour.
3) – Then we take each pie and roll it out again, in the form of a ball, until we finish the rest of the quantity, we let it rest for another quarter of an hour.
4) – We prepare a tray, grease it with oil, spread the dough in it, and grease the face of the pie with cream.
5) – We put it in a preheated oven, until it is completely normal, and it takes on a golden color, then it is served with a thousand here.

Oriental Pie Ingredients
- A kilo of white flour all uses, flour for baked goods.
- A tablespoon of sugar.
- Flat spoon of salt.

How to make sweet oriental pie
Sugar pie ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour.
- a glass of water.
- 3 tablespoons of oil.
- A cup of butter at room temperature.
- A cup of powdered sugar.
- Half a cup of whole milk.
How to prepare oriental pie with sugar:
1) – In a large bowl, put the flour, salt and oil, then add the water one by one, and knead until we have a soft and cohesive dough.
2) – We grease the dough with oil, then cover it with cling film, and let it rest for an hour.
3) – We divide the dough into 6 medium-sized balls, and let them rest for twenty minutes.
4) – We roll out the first ball, then grease it with butter, sprinkle sugar over the butter, roll the second very thin, then place it on top of the first, brush the surface with butter, then sprinkle more sugar.
We spread the third, then put it on top of the second, and brush it with butter, with more sugar. Then we close the parties and Nkorha. We grease the face with butter, sprinkle with sugar, then put it on a tray greased with butter, and repeat these steps with the rest of the balls.
